As
an environmentalist and an animal lover I don’t normally like zoo because I
believe that wild animals should stay in their natural habitat. But learning
about Kovo Zoo in Stare Mesto, Uherske Hradiste, I think I found the right zoo
for me.
Kovo
Zoo doesn’t use real animals for amusement. They have statues and figures of
animals made up of recycled metal. Well, the fact is that they are the first
and only metal zoo in Europe.
This
zoo will definitely be appreciated by environmentalist, artist and animal
rights activists like me. It is also educational for young children since this
zoo shows the importance of recycling. For those who also want to unwind and
find a quiet yet lovely place to sit under a tree and read a book, I guess it
is a nice place for you.
